Day Eleven – What’s in Your Makeup Bag?

No picture needed...basically I'd be embarrassed if I posted a picture of the inside of my makeup bag...it's not "gross" but it's a little dusty!  My makeup bag is the "Large Cosmetic Vera Bradley Pink Bermuda".  I've been using it since the middle of college and YES I do wash it from time to time.  I have never been a "Fancy Designer" makeup wearer...probably because when I started wearing makeup there was no way my mom was going to spend that kind of money on products.  I stick to drug store brands for the everyday items and when I am lucky, I place an order with Mary Kay.  I LOVE MARY KAY but I wait until I run out of something to purchase another so the whole ordering thing and having it shipped doesn't work out for me.  Someday I'll stock pile makeup so I can wear all Mary Kay makeup.  Here is the makeup line up listed below:

• Mary Kay Liquid Foundation (currently)
• Cover Girl Pressed Powder in Color 115 (not even sure what that color is)
• Assortment of Ulta Eye Shadows depending on shades of clothing I am wearing that day
• Cover Girl or Bare Minerals - Eye Brow Darkener (I plucked too much in middle school and am now paying the price)
• Ulta Blush (also have no clue what color it is)
• Lipstick - 2 Choices: Mary Kay - Mocha Freeze and Loreal - Bronzine
• Eye Liner - Loreal Liquid Black (No Detail either, I shop by memory of what it looks like)
• Mascara - Loreal Voluminous Black

I wear makeup everyday...I hate the way I look without it so I can't leave the house without it.  I know sometimes I should let my face "breathe" but since it makes me feel better I keep wearing it.  Some days I wear a lot of makeup...some days a little...it all depends.  If I do not wear make up I tend to itch my eyes all day and the area around them becomes dry, so maybe the makeup is actually good for me.  I love wearing makeup, hate spending the time to put it on, but will continue to do so until I am an old lady.
